JITB - Wrong Combo 11-6-06

My girls and i are staying at my parents house while we get our house ready. Well Monday my dad stayed home to get some work done so me and my girls had to leave the house for a few hours. So we got up, got dressed and left at about 9:30am. Didn't have time to get breakfast so I told them we would just go to Jack-In-The-Box. We went thru the drive thru and got our food. Then off to our new house for a few hours. Got there and laid a blanket on the floor for a "picnic" breakfast. Put out their food and got them set up. Went to get my food and..... IT WAS THE WRONG COMBO!!! I had wanted the Ciabiata Breakfast Sandwich Combo 19 and they had given me the Breakfast Burrito Combo 18. Well I started "talking to myself" saying that i didn't want a "fricken burrito". Told the girls to leave their breakfast and that we were going back to get my sandwich. They kept telling me that they were going to yell at them for me. On the way in i had to tell them to let me do the talking.

Well... later that night my husband came over to my parents house for dinner and was sitting on the couch with the girls. He asked them what they did today and my oldest, Kaylie (4), tells him that we went to Jack-In-The-Box for breakfast and they gave mommy a "fricken burrito". LOL My husband just looked at me and then the whole family just started busting up laughing. I guess i'm gonna have to watch a little closer to what i say around her.

My mom came to visit the other day. When she got here she rang the door bell. Kaylie and Evalynn were still in their seats eating breakfast. When Kaylie heard the door bell she looked at me suprised and exclaimed, "PIZZA!?!".

There is a new TV show on the Disney Channel called "The Doodle Bops." No matter how hard she tries Kaylie cannot pronounce it right. She calls them "The Tuna Tops."

Kaylie and Evalynn have a new "trick". For the past 3 mornings when I would go to get them out of their room they would BOTH be up on the changing table/dresser playing with the light swithch!

Kaylie just came over and said, "I don't feel good". And then she let one rip!! I looked at her and asked, "You feel better?". She nods and and with a big grin on her face says, "Uh huh." Gee, thanks for sharing.

I took the girls to the mall today. Whenever we go to the mall Kaylie thinks it is Christmas. Also she askes if she can go "play teddie bear". There is a play area for kids inside the mall that has a bear holding the hight sign. I went to go get a pedicure and Kaylie always asks if she can have "color toes".
